Sudan Situation Report April 2023

After the conflict between the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) erupted in Khartoum on the 15th of April, Sudan has been in a critical state with heavy gunfire, explosions and new clashes arising. Local residents are fleeing their affected areas, with refugees arriving in Chad and over 300 people have been killed and nearly 3200 injured. The injured have limited access to healthcare, as a third of Sudan’s healthcare facilities are out of order.
